Movement matters.
More than ever.

Exercise is about more than getting stronger. Research shows that regular physical activity can reduce cancer-related fatigue, improve quality of life, and support long-term health after treatment.

01

Less fatigue

Exercise has been shown to reduce cancer-related fatigue and improve physical function.

02

Better quality of life

Research supports improvements in emotional well-being, physical health, and everyday functioning.

03

Long-term health

Studies have linked physical activity with improved survival for certain cancers, and clinical research suggests structured exercise may reduce recurrence in certain cancers.

These messages are supported by research and recommendations from the National Cancer Institute and American Cancer Society.

Boulder Program Lead & Coach | Breast Cancer Survivor

As a breast cancer survivor, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find your way back to fitness after surgery or treatment. Getting back into a traditional gym can feel intimidating, even when you've been active your whole life.

Bringing the internationally recognized Battle Cancer Program to Boulder, in partnership with CrossFit Sanitas, is an incredible opportunity for the community here. It's an opportunity to rebuild strength, regain confidence, make new friends, and find your way back to movement.

I'm a CrossFit Coach, a Battle Cancer coach and self-proclaimed health and wellness nerd. More than anything, I love bringing people together and building a community where everyone feels like they belong.

Melisa
“My pain when walking is less and now I have energy!!! I realize I need more mobility and endurance, but I feel that is coming too. Thank you so much for this program.”
Gisela
“It feels like having a personal trainer, plus other women around me in the same boat, trying to rebuild bone, muscle, and stamina. It amazes me how the leaders can scan the group and quickly correct form, ensuring we don't injure ourselves or engage the wrong body parts. Thanks for your enthusiasm and devotion to us. You guys are terrific.”
Amy
“I appreciate the alternative motions to prevent pain in my thumb and knee. Thanks for the supportive and knowledgeable group!”
